Are you a skilled Gas Engineer living in Bristol or along the M4/M5 corridor? Do you have a background in Facilities Management or Construction and a passion for high-standard service delivery?
If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team, supporting some of the UK’s most recognisable household brands across the South West.
What’s in it for you?
We offer one of the most comprehensive benefits packages in the industry, ensuring you are rewarded for your hard work and expertise:
* Financial Security:
Competitive salary, door-to-door pay, and a 4% discretionary bonus scheme.
* The Kit: A company van (with an option for personal use), fuel card, smartphone, high-quality tools, uniform, and all necessary PPE.
* Health & Wellbeing: 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), Health Cash Plan, 20% off Nuffield Fitness & Wellbeing Centres, and free eye tests with Specsavers.

The Role
As a key member of our Gas Maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing top-tier service to our high-profile retail and supermarket clients. You won't just be a "number"—you'll be the face of Arcus on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering planned and preventative gas maintenance (PPM).
* Fault finding and reactive repairs to ensure client sites remain operational.
* Managing your workload via a real-time digital system, ensuring tasks are completed within set service level agreements (SLAs).
* Maintaining a professional image and ensuring your company vehicle is kept in excellent condition.
* Reporting technical issues—we don't expect you to be an expert in everything; if a job needs a specialist, you’ll have the autonomy to call it in.
About You
You are a customer-focused engineer who enjoys working autonomously. You can handle a demanding workload with a calm, professional approach and possess excellent communication skills.
Essential Requirements:
* Qualifications:
Recognised Commercial Gas qualification and Gas Safe certification (both essential).
* Technical Knowledge:
Strong HVAC knowledge and an understanding of commercial M&E service technologies.
* Experience:
A proven track record within Facilities Management or Construction, ideally working on high-profile retail contracts.
* License: A full UK driving licence is required.
* Flexibility:
Comfortable with a 45-hour working week and a 1-in-4 on-call rota.
