Personal Assistant

PA required for a lively, sociable, and outgoing 21-year-old young man with learning disabilities in Bishopston.

Duties

Support the young man by engaging in activities such as visiting community places, eating out, visiting museums, bowling, and other fun activities of his choice to promote independence and social interaction.

Skills and Experience

• Ability to act in an understanding, patient, trustworthy, calm, and non-judgmental manner.
• Confident, calm, fun, and outgoing personality.
• Experience working with young people with learning difficulties.
• Ability to support the young person in maintaining expectations and boundaries.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to use them effectively.

Clean UK driving license and own car are preferred but not essential.

Available hours: Friday evenings, weekends, and school holidays, up to 7 hours per week.

£15.50 per hour (gross). PAYE or Freelance contract options available.

Bishopston, Bristol
