Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with a team to provide personalised, evidence‑based care tailored to the needs of each young person and their family.
  • Organising and engaging in activities that encourage development and foster a sense of belonging, both within and outside the home.
  • Building strong, professional relationships with children, young people, and their families, offering emotional and practical support to those facing social, emotional, or behavioural challenges.

We have relief Residential Support Worker roles at the following locations. Please specify in your application your preferred location:

Hawthwaite Lane, Barrow

Blackwell Road, Carlisle

Oaktree Road, Kendal

Sedbergh Drive, Kendal

Huntley Avenue – Penrith

Overend Road, Whitehaven

These roles are available on a casual/zero hours basis. Hours to be agreed based on service requirements.
