We are looking for 1 part time Duty Worker to join the expansion of the St Mungo s Bristol Accommodation Service. You will be working across dispersed semi‑independent accommodation in Bristol. Our residents are male and female living in shared and self‑contained properties. Our accommodation service provides accommodation and housing related support to people who may have complex needs, including multiple challenges such as physical and mental health issues, substance use and a history of trauma.

We are dedicated to providing a safe, high quality and inclusive service to people while they are living in supported accommodation, and a positive move‑on into independent housing. You will join a dynamic team, taking part in the renewal of the service, helping us to provide a psychologically‑informed environment and a supportive and secure place where our residents can make meaningful life changes.

Responsibilities

Working Hours

You will work on site part time for 3 days per week (22.5 hours per week).

Requirements
  • Travel across multiple properties in Bristol each day to provide duty support as needed.
  • Great communication skills and some experience providing a service to others – whether in retail, hospitality, care, or community work.
  • Empathy and understanding of the challenges faced by people experiencing homelessness.
  • A genuine interest in supporting vulnerable people to make positive changes in their lives.
  • Solid organisational skills, with basic IT and admin capability.
  • A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Ability to arrange your own transport so that travelling between multiple locations each day is done efficiently.
