About the Role
Customer Support Coordinator – Bristol
The role involves providing housing and support services to customers at risk of homelessness through the organisation’s schemes. You will work closely with customers, group staff and external agencies to deliver a holistic service that meets the highest standards.
- Develop and deliver support and housing management services to vulnerable people in temporary dispersed accommodation.
- Sign up new customers to the service and provide advice on the welfare/benefit system.
- Maintain the scheme by conducting risk assessments, health and safety monitoring and coordinating repairs, voids and maintenance with the housing management team.
- Manage a small caseload of customers and collaborate with group employees and outside agencies.
- Experience working with vulnerable client groups in a challenging environment.
- Knowledge of housing management best practice, letting procedures and tenancy compliance.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence in a positive manner.
- Confident IT user and adept at navigating the benefits system (desirable but not essential).
- Resilience and a positive, supportive attitude.
- Local knowledge of the Bristol area is an advantage.
- Must have an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
