Overview
Permanent, Part Time 18.5 hours per week (job-share). This role focuses on reducing homelessness in Bristol by delivering strategic service improvements to increase move-on accommodation and supply high standard Temporary Accommodation.
We are seeking an experienced Commissioner or Project Manager to identify and deliver a range of additional move-on accommodation, working with Housing Options, partner organisations, and other agencies involved in developing affordable accommodation options.
Responsibilities- Deliver strategic service improvements which increase the availability of move-on accommodation for people who are homeless and improve the supply of cost-effective, high standard Temporary Accommodation.
- Identify and project manage the delivery of additional move-on accommodation to help reduce homelessness in Bristol.
- Work closely with other teams within Housing Options, partner organisations, people experiencing homelessness, and agencies involved in developing affordable accommodation options.
- Co-ordinate a range of interventions to ensure work objectives and deadlines are met.
- Strategic service improvement experience and ability to identify and project manage the delivery of new accommodation solutions.
- Experience in homelessness or affordable housing delivery services.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good IT skills and the ability to work flexibly, manage time effectively, and coordinate multiple interventions.
