Crisis House Mental Health Recovery Worker

Job Type - Permanent Full Time (35 Hours)

Salary - £24,544.91 per annum

At Rethink Mental Illness, we believe recovery is possible for everyone. We're looking for a compassionate, resilient and person‑centred Mental Health Recovery Worker to join our Crisis House team, supporting people experiencing mental health challenges to build confidence, develop independence and take positive steps towards recovery.

About the role

As a Crisis House Mental Health Recovery Worker, you'll provide high‑quality, recovery‑focused support to individuals staying within a crisis service. You'll work alongside people at a critical point in their mental health journey, helping them to identify strengths, achieve personal goals and access the support they need to move forward positively.

What you'll be doing
  • Building trusting and supportive relationships with people using the service.
  • Delivering person‑centred, recovery‑focused support.
  • Encouraging independence, wellbeing and positive coping strategies.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, healthcare professionals, families and wider support networks.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring information is managed appropriately.
  • Supporting safeguarding, health and safety and risk management processes.
  • Participating in training, supervision and continuous professional development.
