Salvation Army Homes Imagine this A person has just moved into West Farm after months of instability. Theyre unsure, maybe guarded, but you start by cooking a simple meal together. Over time, you help them learn to budget, manage a tenancy, and rebuild confidence. Youre not just teaching skills, youre helping someone believe they can thrive independently, while knowing theyve got someone they can trust walking alongside them.
The opportunity We have two roles available offering weekend working: one role working Saturday & Sunday 7.30am > 3.30pm. The second role working Saturday & Sunday 1 pm > 9pm. As an Independent Living Skills Coach, youll walk alongside them, helping them cook a meal, budget for bills, apply for college, or simply believe in themselves again. What youll be doing Act as a coach and keyworker, co-creating 'My Journey' plans with young people.
Build supportive relationships rooted in trust and respect. Deliver life skills sessions, activities and accredited programmes. Support young people before, during, and after they move on to independence. About The Candidate What were looking for A natural coach someone who can inspire, guide and encourage. Empathy for young people with complex needs and resilience when challenges arise. Creativity to find solutions that unlock potential.
