Genomics England is seeking an experienced Principal Data Engineer to set technical direction for national-scale data platforms in a regulated environment. You will lead complex data solutions, shaping standards and patterns for multiple teams while staying hands-on where it matters.
You will influence architectural direction, drive Data Ops and modern engineering practices, and mentor engineers across squads, ensuring security and privacy by design in healthcare and genomics data domains.
