Job Description & How to Apply Below
Location: West of England

We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join a well-established technology business serving clients across the creative, media and digital sectors. You’ll play a key role in designing, building and evolving scalable platforms while helping to shape technical direction across multiple projects. This is an opportunity to create, own and deliver impactful solutions while working with a highly experienced remote-first team.

* 2 days per month in their Central Bristol office.

What experience you’ll need to apply
  • Commercial experience with Type Script, JavaScript, React, Next.js and Node.js.
  • A background working in multi-client/multi-project and fast-paced environments.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools and reviewing AI-generated code.
  • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational database design.
  • Experience designing and consuming REST and GraphQL APIs.
  • Experience deploying and managing applications within AWS environments.
  • Knowledge of Docker and containerised application deployment.
  • Experience building scalable, secure and maintainable web applications.
  • Ability to contribute to technical architecture and engineering decisions.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Exposure to headless CMS platforms, NestJS, Word Press, PHP, Shopify, Terraform or GCP would be advantageous.
What you’ll be doing

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you’ll lead the design and development of modern web applications across both front-end and back-end environments. You’ll take ownership of features throughout the full development lifecycle, from planning and architecture through to deployment and ongoing improvements.

You’ll work extensively with Type Script, React, Next.js, Node.js and PostgreSQL while contributing to cloud-based solutions hosted on AWS. You’ll use AI-assisted development tools as part of your day-to-day workflow, applying careful review and testing practices to ensure production-quality outcomes.

You will also contribute to technical decision-making, support engineering best practice, improve CI/CD processes, optimise application performance, and help create a collaborative environment through mentoring and knowledge sharing. You’ll work closely with project delivery teams to ensure technical outcomes align with commercial and project goals.

What you’ll get in return for your experience

In return there’s a competitive salary (£60K-67.5K) alongside a comprehensive benefits package. Benefits include remote-first working with occasional office meetups (2 days per month in Central Bristol), a dedicated training budget, ongoing development planning, private medical insurance, life insurance, employee assistance support, pension contributions, generous annual leave and the opportunity to work abroad for a period each year. You’ll also gain exposure to modern technologies, large-scale web platforms and a supportive environment that encourages continuous learning and professional growth.
