Senior Operations Controller

We are supporting a growing private aviation operator in Oxfordshire with the appointment of a Senior Operations Controller to lead the safe and efficient delivery of daily flight operations across a mixed fleet of fixed‑wing aircraft and helicopters.

This is a pivotal, hands‑on role sitting at the centre of the operation.

You will oversee aircraft scheduling, crew duty compliance and cross‑department coordination, while acting as a key point of contact for CAMOs, flight crew, third‑party providers and clients.

• Managing day-to-day operations in line with Flight Time Limitations
• Coordinating aircraft scheduling and fleet serviceability planning
• Liaising closely with CAMOs regarding maintenance and utilisation
• Charter quoting and trip sales activity via Avinode
• Maintaining operational status boards and technical awareness
• Conducting post‑flight documentation checks and audits
• Ensuring regulatory compliance across all operational activity
• Supporting and guiding the wider Operations Controller team
• Contributing to procedural improvements and training

• Have experience within business aviation operations
• Understand Flight Time Limitations and compliance requirements
• Have worked closely with CAMO and maintenance planning
• Are confident liaising with clients and external providers
• Enjoy taking ownership and supporting team development
