The Best Connection Bristol are working with a well known client to find a Depot Supervisor to support there daily/weekly needs. As the client continues to grow someone with previous team leader or supervisor experience would be preferred.

As part of our operational team, you'll be hands‑on in keeping our vehicles loaded safely, on the road, and ready to deliver the amazing service our customers know us for. You'll get stuck into the day‑to‑day making sure loads are secure, vehicles stay compliant, and everything meets our high standards.

• Make sure every vehicle is loaded safely, secure, and fully compliant with transport rules keeping everything to standard from the get-go.
• Help new starters settle in by showing them the ropes, from our Safe Systems of Work to key Health & Safety basics.
• Share daily or weekly priorities so the whole team knows what's happening and what we're aiming for, excellent handovers and communications are key.
• Work side‑by‑side with the team, helping divvy up tasks and supporting everyone to crack on.
• Complete in-house reports accurately and on time
• Effective delivery monitoring and problem-solving skills, with the ability to react quickly to issues throughout the day.
• Have strong driver engagement and customer‑focused approach, handling queries professionally and maintaining positive relationships.

In return our client will offer salary between £28,500-£31,500 working 40hrs a week Monday to Friday with occasional supported needed on Saturdays.
