We are looking for a reliable Shunter to join our team at the DHL SWROC (Nisa) site in Avonmouth. The Package Rate: £19.00 per hour

Shift: 16:00 – 04:00 (Nights)

Schedule:

Thursday, Friday, Sunday, and Monday)

Hours:

12-hour shifts / 48 hours per week

Key Responsibilities As a vital part of our yard operations, you will ensure the warehouse flow remains seamless:
Trailer Movement:
Safely moving trailers between holding bays and warehouse doors using a TUG. Coupling/Uncoupling:
Connecting/disconnecting trailers, including air lines and landing gear. Safety Checks:
Performing thorough inspections for defects before any trailer movement. Yard Efficiency:
Maintaining an organized site to minimize risk and maximize loading speed. Requirements Licence:
Valid HGV Class 1 (Category CE) is required.

Experience:

Previous shunting or TUG experience is highly preferred. Mindset: A "safety-first" approach and the ability to work the fixed night rota.
