Logistics Coordinator | Bristol (FTC)
Drive the heart of our delivery operations by ensuring our fleet is compliant, our routes are optimized, and our customers receive the food they believe in every single day.
What you will be doingAs our Logistics Coordinator, you will be the pulse of the Bristol transport hub, balancing meticulous data management with real-time problem solving. Working closely with the Group Transport Manager, you will ensure our drivers are supported and our compliance standards remain industry-leading.
- Planning & Dispatch:
Produce daily and weekly transport plans, assign routes to drivers, and manage all shift paperwork to ensure a seamless start and end to the day. - Fleet & Compliance:
Maintain rigorous compliance records, download vehicle tachographs, and manage the fleet schedule by coordinating with service providers for maintenance and collections. - Operational Support:
Oversee deliveries proactively, act as the primary point of contact for permanent and agency drivers, and resolve route issues to keep the depot fully informed. - Administration & Finance:
Handle essential data entry via the Accord system, record KPIs and vehicle weights, and manage the weekly release of forward orders and daily invoicing.
We are looking for an ambitious individual who is eager to learn, bringing a blend of transport knowledge and administrative precision.
- Experience:
Foundational knowledge of transport or planning within the logistics industry and comfort working in a fast‑paced, small‑team environment. - Hard
Skills:
Proficient in data entry and record‑keeping (ideally with systems like Accord), with a sharp eye for accuracy regarding vehicle weights, KPIs, and compliance documentation. - Soft Skills:
A proactive communicator who can build trust with drivers and customers, remains calm under pressure when solving route problems, and is always willing to help cover other sites when needed.
