Shift: Zero hours contract About the Role As a Class 1 Driver, you will:
Take on the challenge of collecting and delivering customers' products throughout the UK on a curtain-sided trailer. Master the art of load security with ratchet straps and part manual handling, ensuring every delivery is safe and secure. Leverage a handheld PDA to complete paperwork seamlessly and efficiently. Keep in constant contact with the transport team, offering updates on your progress and ensuring our customers' expectations are consistently met.

Experience the thrill of nights away, making each journey unique and fulfilling. Engage in regular training sessions to stay updated with the latest industry standards and best practices, continuously improving your skills. Rota is flexible and offered on a weekly basis, with drivers contacted in advance to confirm availability. This is a zero/casual hours arrangement to support peak periods, annual leave and unplanned absences.

Skills and Qualifications Hold a valid UK HGV Class 1 CE Licence, ready to take on the open road with confidence. Possess a current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card, ensuring you're always compliant and prepared. Bring your passion for delivering exceptional customer service, making every interaction count. Thrive under deadlines, showcasing your ability to work efficiently and effectively.

Hourly rate of £16.81ph. This includes holiday pay. Saturday and Sunday hours will be paid at £21.62ph. You will receive an extra £2.75ph for any hours worked between 21:00pm and 04:00am Shift Hours :
