Freight Forwarder

Hours: Monday to Friday

Our client, a well-established international logistics and shipping specialist, is seeking an experienced Freight Forwarder or Export Operator to join their growing team in Bristol.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in ocean freight forwarding, export shipping, international logistics, or removals who enjoys managing shipments from booking through to final delivery while providing exceptional customer service.
Working within a specialist export operation, you will take responsibility for coordinating international vehicle shipments worldwide, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience for customers throughout the entire shipping process.

• Manage international vehicle export shipments from booking through to final delivery
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the shipment process
• Liaise with shipping lines and overseas partners to secure bookings and manage schedules
• Prepare and issue shipping instructions and Bills of Lading
• Complete export customs declarations using HMRC CDS
• Monitor shipment progress and proactively update customers
