Monday to Friday (Night Shifts) About the Role Recruit A Driver is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers for a well-established client based in Scunthorpe. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for straightforward, ongoing night trunking work. The role involves trunking to distribution hubs in Burton-on-Trent or Leicester , with no manual handling required. Drivers will complete a scheduled trunk run, delivering before approximately 22:00 , collecting again around 02:00 , before returning to the depot.

Key Responsibilities Complete nightly trunk runs to distribution hubs Deliver and collect trailers safely and efficiently Carry out daily vehicle safety checks before and after each shift Complete delivery paperwork and Proof of Deliveries (PODs) accurately Maintain high standards of vehicle care and professionalism Comply with Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations Provide a professional and reliable service at all times Requirements Valid UK Class 1 (CE) Licence Minimum 6 months' recent Class 1 driving experience Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card Digital Tachograph Card Maximum 6 penalty points (minor endorsements only) Reliable, punctual and professional approach Strong commitment to safety and compliance Why Work With Recruit A Driver?
