HGV Class 1 Driver

HGV Class 1 Driver Based Hams Hall Monday to Friday between 05:00-08:00 starts PAYE Days - £17.25 per hour plus holiday pay Night out £25.00 per night out Driver Require are recruiting Class 1 Driver for our client based in Hams Hall. Our client has a bespoke services in Logistics, Transport & Global Shipping sectors across the globe. Main responsibilities for a Class 1 driver Multidrop experience essential, can be 5-8 deliveries per day (Curtain sided trailers) Knowledge of how to use android handheld tablets, as the client uses an app for the deliveries, backed up with a paper manifest.

Deliveries to building sites, loads are not handball, either FLT or telehandlers will be on site to offload. Types of products - fully assembled 1 st fix staircases, 2 nd fix ancillary products, rails bannisters etc, doors & linings. Typical week would be 50-55 hours Skills and Experience Required for a Class 1 Driver 2 years experience of driving Class 1 vehicles on UK roads No major convictions ( DD/DR/IN10's) Benefits Our fleet is 1-3 years old, trucks fitted with microwaves & fridges, leaver seats & aircon.
