Class 2 Refuse Driver

TLP Recruitment is currently recruiting multiple Cat C (Class
2) Refuse Drivers on behalf of our well-established client based in the Tonbridge area. Due to continued expansion, our client is looking to grow its fleet and is seeking reliable, professional drivers to join the team. As a Class 2 Refuse Driver , you will work alongside a team of loaders, safely transporting them around designated collection routes while ensuring waste collections are completed efficiently and on schedule.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a full-time role , starting on a temporary basis with the potential to become permanent after 12 weeks . No previous refuse driving experience? No problem! While experience driving waste vehicles is advantageous, full training, induction and driving assessments will be provided before you start.

The Role Safely operate a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle. Work closely with a team of loaders on daily collection routes. Ensure collections are completed safely and efficiently. Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects. Follow all Health & Safety and Manual Handling procedures. Deliver a professional service at all times. Working Hours Monday to Friday 06:00/07:00 start - approximately 15:00 finish Optional Saturday shifts available.

Finish times may vary depending on workload. What You'll Need Valid UK Category C (Class
2) Driving Licence Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Maximum of 6 penalty points (minor traffic offences only) No DR, DD or IN endorsements Reliable, punctual and hard-working Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions Available to work full-time, Monday to Friday
