HGV Class 1 Driver

HGV Class 1 Trunk Drivers Needed Pay Rate: £17-£21 per hour Type:
Mornings (4-6am starts) and Afternoons (2pm-4pm starts)

Location:

Severn Beach We are working with a national company based in Severn Beach. They are able to take reliable and hard working class 1 drivers on a regular basis with varying shifts. They run a 24 hour operation so as an example there is an opportunity to do Monday to Friday, Wednesday to Sunday, or just weekends. The morning shifts is a trunk run but you will be expected to take the load off when delivering.

The load is a mixture of cages and pallets, so there will be a physical element to the role. New pass are welcome but must be confident in reversing and in manoeuvres.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles
- Complete trunking deliveries
- Use taillift equipment as required
- Handball heavy goods when necessary

Required Qualifications:

- Valid HGV Class 1 license - CPC qualification
- Digital tachograph card
