Part time Van Driver

Due to an increase in demand, Swift Temps are working in partnership with the Royal Mail to source Postal Delivery Workers to support with their busy operation.

* Location:

Central Bristol

* Working Hours:

4 hours per day between 14:00 and 19:00 Monday till Friday, with occasional Saturday/Sunday requirements as per the depot's requirements
 
* Hourly Rate: £13.37 per hour PAYE

About the role:

The role is for collections: time sensitive route that composes off customers, post offices/boxes, carrying mail from the collection point to the van and unloading back at the delivery office.

About You:

* The ideal candidate for this role will be upbeat, self-motivated, and happy to work alone as well as part of a team.
 
* You will be helpful and approachable displaying a strong sense of community, as you get to know the people you meet on your round.
 
* Royal Mail deliver parcels whatever the weather, so you will enjoy working outdoors and due to the amount of walking required you will need to be relatively fit and healthy.
 
* You will be smartly presented, always acting in a professional and courteous manner.
Previous

Experience:

* Some previous experience in a customer facing or delivery role would be ideal but not essential.
 
* You will be required to complete a full DBS security check prior to commencing work.
 
* Driving licence requirements
 
* A full UK manual driving licence (in your current UK address)
 
* Maximum 6 penalty points
