Responsibilities- Compiling and maintaining records of physical and virtual product inventories via daily cycle counting, claims management, and accounts administration.
- Managing data related to ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping products for/from the facility.
- Ordering shipping materials, supplies, and equipment to maintain inventory levels throughout the facility.
- Keeping inventory, purchasing, shipping, and other records up to date.
- Collecting data from purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and accounting reports.
- Determining stock supply levels and identifying the need for replenishment.
- Investigating damages, inventory adjustments, and shrink issues.
- Ensuring the correct product used, conducting regular cycle counts, and assisting with physical inventories.
- Verifying stock numbers, pallet IDs, authorised substitutes, and other listed information using catalogues, manuals, product lists, and similar references to ensure accuracy in shipping orders.
- Reviewing files to identify unused items and recommending disposal of excess or damaged products.
- Operating warehouse material handling equipment to move products, ensuring compliance with safety standards, policies, and procedures.
- Previous experience in stock control.
- Previous experience with warehouse management systems such as WMS, Connect, and SAP AS400 is desirable. A willingness to learn is a must.
- Computer literate with a confident ability to use Microsoft Office packages.
- Excellent organisation and administration skills.
- Confident communicator, able to work well within a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a cold environment. Personal protective equipment will be provided.
- Own transport available to commute to site each day.
