Permanent As Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse activities, ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched safely, accurately, and efficiently. You will lead a team of warehouse operatives and supervisors, drive productivity while maintaining the highest standards of health and safety, inventory accuracy, and operational performance.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing the day-to-day operation of the warehouse to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity. Leading, motivating, and developing warehouse teams to achieve operational targets. Ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, stock control, and dispatch of goods. Monitoring warehouse KPIs and implementing improvements to enhance performance. Managing inventory levels and ensuring stock accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.

Optimising warehouse layouts, processes, and workflows to improve efficiency. Working closely with transport, production, and customer service teams to meet business and customer requirements. Managing labour resources effectively to meet fluctuating operational demands. Investigating operational issues and implementing corrective actions to minimise disruption. Controlling warehouse costs while maintaining service and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience as a Warehouse Manager within an industrial, manufacturing, logistics, or distribution environment. Proven leadership experience managing large operational teams. Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and stock control processes. Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a warehouse environment. Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Excellent organisational and planning abilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. A hands-on management style with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
