Principal​/Associate Structural Engineer

Overview

A well-established multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking a Principal or Associate level Structural Engineer to join its expanding team in Bristol. This opportunity offers involvement in a variety of projects across commercial, residential, retail, and industrial sectors, working within a supportive and progressive environment.

• Leading a busy and efficient structural engineering team.
• Oversee the structural design and analysis for diverse project portfolio, supporting and directing the team and liaising with clients.
• Providing high-level technical oversight for reports, calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Use relevant design and modelling software effectively as required.
• Attend client meetings, site inspections, and internal project reviews.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated project delivery, managing budgets and timelines.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.

• Degree in Structural Engineering (BEng or MEng).
• Chartered with ICE or IStructE
• Minimum of 7 years of experience, chartership desirable
• Proficient in structural analysis software
• Exceptional technical expertise
• Management experience
• Confident in a client facing position
