Senior Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Bath
Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 plus benefits package
Contract Type: Full time, Permanent

About the Role

A respected civil engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join its Bath team. The role involves the design and delivery of civil infrastructure for a range of projects, including master planning, utilities, highways, earthworks and drainage. You will work within a multidisciplinary environment, taking responsibility for your own design packages and supporting high quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce infrastructure designs for master planning, utilities, highways, earthworks and drainage.
  • Prepare technical drawings, design calculations, specifications and reports.
  • Manage design tasks from concept through to delivery, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate civil engineering inputs.
  • Support project planning, resourcing and delivery tracking.
  • Provide guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Assist with bid preparation and support business development activities.
Skills and Experience Required
  • Experience in civil infrastructure design, including utilities, highways, earthworks, SuDS drainage and knowledge of master planning.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D or similar design software.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and relevant technical standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative approach.
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • Working toward professional registration is an advantage.
