Our client is a highly regarded, forward‑thinking wealth management firm with a strong reputation for delivering holistic financial planning and exceptional client service. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Desk‑Based Financial Adviser to join their established Bristol team.
The RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is newly qualified or early in their advice career to join a supportive environment with a clear progression route to becoming a field‑based Financial Adviser. Paraplanners looking to transition into advice may also be considered. You will be responsible for providing financial advice to an existing client bank, conducting client meetings via telephone or video call.
You'll deliver high‑quality advice across pensions, investments, protection, and retirement planning, supported by a strong paraplanning and administration team.
- Provide regulated financial advice to clients remotely via phone and video meetings
- Manage and develop an existing client bank, ensuring an exceptional standard of ongoing service
- Utilise cashflow modelling tools to produce comprehensive financial plans
- Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues across the business
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of financial products, services, and regulations
- Work closely with paraplanners and support staff to deliver compliant, high‑quality advice
- Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent) is essential
- CAS status can be obtained in role
- Experience in wealth management or a financial planning environment
- Proficient with cashflow modelling software
- Either:
- A newly qualified adviser seeking your first advice role
- An experienced paraplanner looking to transition into advice
- An adviser with up to 12 months experience seeking further support and development
- Strong communication skills and a client‑centric approach
- Ambitious, professional, and eager to progress within a growing firm
