West Walk Surgery are looking for an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our supportive, friendly team working working 12 hours a week over 2 days, ideally split over a Monday and Friday.
A phlebotomy qualification is essential. If you do not yet have experience in all other aspects of the job description, you must be willing to undertake the necessary training.
Main duties of the jobTo support the practice nursing team in the delivery of nursing services, working as partof the practice multidisciplinary team, delivering care within their scope of practice to the entitled patient population. The healthcare assistant will deliver and assist clinical staff in the provision of treatment, preventative care, health promotion and patient education.

Located in Yate town centre, an expanding town 10 miles north of Bristol, convenient for all amenities, we are a based in a large purpose-built premises with X-ray department on site,and have a small branch surgery in nearby Coalpit Heath

Person Specification Qualifications Experience- Health Care Assistant experience.
- Ability to record accurate clinical notes
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Clear, polite telephone manner
- Effective time management (Planning & Organising)
- Ability to work as a team member and autonomously
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow clinical policy and procedure
