Lead a team of Network, Infrastructure, and Dev Ops Engineers to design and implement sophisticated on‑premise systems deployed directly into customer environments. Own high‑ and low‑level architecture, clarify requirements, and evolve customer‑facing systems and internal development, testing and staging environments.

• Provide leadership, direction, and performance management for the team.
• Produce detailed high‑level system designs, considering field conditions, civil works, and existing technologies.
• Define and refine technical requirements in collaboration with Sales and Project Management.
• Develop the strategic roadmap for network and infrastructure evolution, ensuring system reliability and resilience for mission‑critical products.
• Oversee the strategy and operation of internal development and testing environments.
• Ensure all internal environments remain fully functional and meet business needs.

• Extensive technical expertise – at least 15 years in IT and 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong experience designing and implementing secure, resilient distributed IP networks.
• Proven capability in building IT infrastructure solutions, including virtualisation and containerisation.
• Ability to lead technical teams and produce high‑quality documentation and architectural diagrams.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings and presentations.

The role requires a solid understanding of the following areas:

• Network Engineering: WAN, LAN, mobile networks; multi‑vendor operating systems; network design to switch‑level configuration.
• Compute & Systems: Server and compute architecture; OS implementation and low‑level administration; storage engineering (provisioning, clustering, replication).
• Virtualisation & Containerisation: Multi‑vendor hypervisors and virtual networking; engineering virtualised OS; container architecture, orchestration, networking and automated deployment.
• Additional Disciplines: Voice over IP;
  Microsoft enterprise architecture (AD, policies); video wall design; VDI design, including thin client infrastructure.
