BTJ Insurance, a Leavitt Group affiliate located in Bristol, VA, is seeking an experienced and service-focused Personal Lines Account Manager to join our growing team.

This position plays a key role in our personal lines service operations, supporting clients with policy servicing, coverage education, and risk mitigation while ensuring a positive customer experience.

As a Personal Lines Account Manager, you’ll be the first point of contact for inbound personal lines service calls. You'll assist customers with changes to their policies, quoting, payments, verification of insurance, and identifying coverage gaps. You'll also work closely with internal team members to support retention, cross-selling, and service initiatives.

• Respond to incoming service requests promptly and professionally
• Handle all aspects of personal lines servicing, including changes to vehicles, lienholders, coverage, and billing questions
• Educate clients on coverage gaps and risk mitigation strategies
• Provide quotes and cross-sell additional coverages where appropriate
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation in AMS
  360
• Follow up on open service items and verify transactions with customers
• Draft and send service-related correspondence
  
  Assist team members and managers with service-related support tasks
• Leverage personal lines product knowledge and carrier guidelines to support client needs

• Property & Casualty license preferred
• 2+ years of agency experience in personal lines strongly preferred
• Experience with AMS
  360 is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain compliance standards
• Dependable with a consistent and timely work ethic
• Customer-first attitude with a proactive problem-solving mindset

• $48,000 – $65,000/year
