Trainee Account Manager

We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Trainee Account Manager to join our growing team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in account management within the hospitality and events industry. You will provide vital support to our Account Managers with administrative tasks and on-site operations, gradually taking responsibility for managing smaller client accounts.

The goal is for you to become a fully-fledged Regional Account Manager within approximately 6 months.

• Assist Account Managers with day-to-day client administration, including scheduling, data management and reporting.
• Provide on-site support at events, ensuring smooth staff check-ins, operational logistics and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate with recruitment teams to ensure staffing requirements are fulfilled.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and resolve any queries.
• Develop a strong understanding of the company’s services, policies and operational processes.
• Support the implementation of service improvements and client feedback initiatives.
• Gradually manage smaller client accounts, building relationships and ensuring excellent service delivery.

• A proactive, flexible attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
• A keen interest in the events and hospitality industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (preferred but not essential).
• Must have a valid UK drivers licence and be willing to drive.
• A willingness to work weekends, early mornings and evenings as and when needed.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast-paced environments.
