The RoleThis position is the engine room of our new business pipeline. Reporting directly to the Business Director (and collaborating closely with the Marketing Manager, Founder, and the wider team), you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day execution of carefully targeted lead generation, prospect identification, and nurturing activities – all of which will follow our “quality over quantity” approach to personalised and well-researched communications over mass volume outbound sales.
In doing so, you will ensure the sales pipeline is consistently full of high-quality leads that align with our Ideal Client Profiles (ICPs), enabling the Business Director to focus on building relationships and closing high-value opportunities. Your work will play a direct role in achieving our annual pipeline and revenue targets by driving the volume and quality of initial outreach, working to best practices within agency business development and always looking to up-level your knowledge of those best practices.

Key Responsibilities :Below is a summary of what your day-to-day might involve :
Prospect Research & TargetingLead identification:
Systematically research and identify new target companies and decision-makers within our core ICPs (High-Growth SaaS / Tech, Pre-IPO SaaS / Tech, and Cybersecurity), based on funding, employee count, and market activity.
Intelligence gathering:
Track industry news, trends, and prospect activities to inform highly personalised outreach strategies and identify trigger events for contact.
Target list management:
Maintain, refine, and expand targeted account lists for focused outbound campaigns.
Initial outreach:
Execute multi-channel (Linked In, email, direct mail) campaigns to make initial contact with prospects. This includes crafting personalized messages that communicate the Shaped By proposition effectively.
Relationship nurturing:
Follow up on initial contact to build meaningful, long‑term relationships, with the goal of securing first-stage positive conversations and qualifying them for the Business Director.
Content leverage:
Utilise and share the agency’s thought‑leadership content (podcasts, case studies, webinar content) to engage prospects and establish credibility.
Database integrity:
Own the accuracy and completeness of the CRM (Pipedrive) for new business activities, ensuring all leads, contacts, activities, and communication notes are meticulously documented.
Reporting support:
Assist the Business Director in preparing pipeline and activity reports, ensuring data integrity is maintained to accurately track progress against quarterly and annual KPIs.
Martech utilisation:
Efficiently use sales and marketing tools (e.g., Pipedrive, Surfe) to automate and optimise outreach and tracking, and stay on top of new developments in the martech space.
