Yard Operative

What You’ll Do:Repairs & Maintenance:

• Undertake major in-house repairs and fault diagnosis on a variety of equipment.
• Perform planned maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.

• Maintain accurate stock levels and allocate used parts via the works mobile tablet system.

• Accurately process and update job details on the mobile tablet system.

• Provide flexibility and backup support to other depots as needed.

• Keep your work area clean, organised, and in line with safety standards.

• Adhere to company health and safety policies and procedures at all times.

• Support additional tasks as directed by the Foreman or Depot Manager.

• Proven experience in equipment repairs and maintenance.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive, problem-solving approach.

• Familiarity with mobile tablet systems for job tracking.
• Experience in a similar industry or with specialist equipment.
