The Position – Year 6 Teaching Assistant

As a Year 6 Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with the class teacher to support pupils in their final year of primary school.

Your role will include providing 1:1 support and delivering small group interventions, helping children prepare for SATs and the transition to secondary school. You will support learning across the curriculum, promote positive behaviour, and help create a focused and encouraging learning environment. This full-time role is ideal for a dedicated TA who is patient, proactive, and passionate about supporting pupil progress.
