The Position – Behavioural Teaching Assistant
As a Behavioural Teaching Assistant, you will be working within the school’s SEMH resource base, supporting pupils who require additional emotional and behavioural support to access learning. You will provide both 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils regulate their emotions, develop positive coping strategies, and engage in lessons. You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider pastoral team to implement behaviour support plans and tailored interventions.
The ideal candidate will be calm under pressure, consistent in their approach, and confident de-escalating challenging situations. This is a full-time, long-term role starting ASAP.
