The Position – EYFS/Year 1 Teacher
The school is seeking a skilled and nurturing EYFS/Year 1 Teacher to work within their resource base provision, supporting a small class of 6–7 pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a structured, adapted curriculum that meets the individual needs of pupils, ensuring progress both academically and socially. You will plan and deliver personalised learning in line with EHCP targets, using autism-specific strategies to support communication, engagement, and behaviour.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of EYFS framework, demonstrate experience working with pupils with ASD in a SEN or specialist setting snd be confident differentiating learning to meet a range of complex needs. Strong behaviour management skills and a patient, consistent approach are essential for this role.
