The Role

An established water treatment and compliance company is seeking a skilled water hygiene engineer to join its expanding London team. This opportunity is ideal for a water hygiene engineer with industry experience or a plumbing background who is looking to develop technical expertise within a supportive and safety-focused environment.

The successful water hygiene engineer will work across commercial and public sector sites, delivering both planned preventative maintenance and reactive compliance services. This water hygiene engineer position offers varied daily tasks and the chance to build strong client relationships while maintaining high standards of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Temperature monitoring, outlet flushing, and water sampling.

* TMV inspection, servicing, and replacement.

* Cleaning and disinfection of cold water storage tanks and calorifiers.

* Shower head descaling and minor remedial works.

* Ensuring all work complies with ACoP L8, HSG
274, HTM 04-01, and WRAS guidelines.

* Completing accurate service reports and compliance documentation.

Requirements

Minimum two years' experience as a water hygiene engineer or within water treatment/plumbing.

* Relevant water hygiene training certificates.

* Full UK driving licence.
