We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Care Coordinator to join our team. This is an office‑based position which includes managing care/customer files, producing compliance documents and occasionally being on‑call on a scheduled rota. You will liaise with healthcare professionals, care assistants, customers and their families to provide excellent standards of care and support.
Reports to: Care Manager
Principal Responsibilities- Answer all incoming telephone enquiries.
- Implement thorough recruitment and vetting procedures for all Care Assistants.
- Process new customer referrals.
- Prepare appropriate documentation for Field Care Supervisors.
- Allocate Care Assistants to all customer visits, ensuring coverage.
- Administer all Individual Care & Support Agreements.
- Maintain customer and Care Assistant office files, keeping them up to date.
- Keep computer systems and electronic records current.
- Work closely with the Field Care Supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with all office systems and procedures.
- Assist with wages and invoice processing.
- Produce reports and management information as required.
- Strong communicator, fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Friendly telephone manner.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Work under pressure and multi‑task. Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to work to deadlines & take direction.
- Think fast on their feet and make quick decisions.
- Compassionate and caring.
- Candidate must have previous experience as a Care Coordinator.
