Hourly Rate: £21.51 PAYE or £27.31 Umbrella

Job Type: Contract (Minimum 3 months with possible extension)
We are seeking an experienced Housing Officer to manage a patch of approximately 500 properties located primarily in Clapham, with some in Acre Lane, Brixton.

Day-to-day of the role:

Manage a diverse property portfolio, including street properties and blocks without lifts, requiring the ability to climb stairs.
Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure properties are maintained to high standards.
Address and resolve anti-social behaviour (ASB) issues effectively.
Provide support and guidance to residents with safeguarding, welfare needs, and mental health concerns.
Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to housing management.
Ensure compliance with housing legislation and policies.

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Housing Officer, particularly in managing ASB cases.
Strong understanding of housing laws and tenant management.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of dealing sensitively with a variety of tenant issues.
Must be physically capable of climbing stairs in properties without lifts.
A driving licence and own vehicle are preferred
