Location:
2 to 3 days in either London, Manchester, Leicester, Hursley, Glasgow or Edinburgh Day Rate: £560 a day via Umbrella company Duration: 6 months The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Application Developer (Dev Ops) to join a high-profile Government programme. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a complex technical environment, supporting application development, integrations, automation, and Dev Ops best practices across critical systems.
Essential Skills & Experience Strong knowledge of JIRA and Confluence Scripting experience including: ANT Ansible Bash Shell Terraform Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines Strong experience with:
Jenkins AWS Git Docker Liquibase Ability to work effectively with remote client and delivery teams Experience supporting integrations with external applications
Key Responsibilities Develop, support, and maintain enterprise applications within a Dev Ops environment. Build, enhance, and manage CI/CD pipelines. Automate deployment and infrastructure processes. Support application integrations across multiple platforms. Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver project objectives. Troubleshoot and resolve application, deployment, and environment issues. Contribute to continuous improvement and Dev Ops best practices.
