Intersect Global is recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering major infrastructure projects across Kent.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile schemes, including a £12m highways project in Kent. These projects offer long-term security, varied commercial responsibilities, and excellent career progression within a well-established contractor.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial management of civil engineering and infrastructure projects from commencement through to final account, ensuring commercial performance is maximised while maintaining contractual compliance.

• Commercial management of civil engineering and highways projects.

• Preparation of budgets, cost plans, bills of quantities and contract documentation.

• Measurement of works on site and from drawings.

• Monitoring project costs, forecasts and cash flow.

• Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities.

• Assessing and negotiating subcontractor quotations.
