Academics are seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join one of our fantastic partner primary schools in Broadstairs, Thanet. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about early education and supporting KS1 pupils as they build strong academic and emotional foundations.

What you'll do as a Year 2 Teacher:

Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and age-appropriate lessons for Year 2 pupils
Create a warm, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment
Strengthen core skills in phonics, reading, writing, and maths
Prepare pupils for their transition into Key Stage 2
Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants and support staff
Maintain positive communication with parents, carers, and colleagues

What we're looking for:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) / Early Careers Teachers (ECT) welcome
Experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 2
Strong behaviour management and excellent communication skills
A patient, caring, and proactive teaching approach
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
