SEND Teaching Assistant – Specialist Resourced Provision (SRP)

Bromstone Primary has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated, enthusiastic and caring SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team within our Specialist Resourced Provision (SRP) — an integral part of our vibrant and inclusive primary school.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting pupils with significant and complex needs
, which may present in a variety of ways. The ideal candidate will have experience in an Early Years or nursery setting and a strong understanding of the importance of sensory play, communication through play, and hands‑on learning experiences
.

This role requires a proactive and flexible approach — someone who is confident in suggesting, planning and setting up engaging, sensory‑based activities that support children’s social, emotional and behavioural development. You will need to be patient, resilient and creative
, able to adapt to the individual needs of each child and remain calm in challenging situations.

Hours:

31.25 per week, 8:30am – 3:15pm (Monday–Friday), term‑time only.

Contract:

Fixed term to 31st August 2026 initially, with the hope to extend.
