Broadstairs, Kent

Salary:
Up to £36,000 per annum DOE

Hours:

Full-time

You will work closely with and report to the HR Manager, providing proactive HR generalist support across all areas of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and employee engagement.

Responsibilities:

* Act as a point of contact for everyday HR enquiries, providing timely and accurate advice

* Support performance management processes, including probation reviews and appraisals

* Manage absence monitoring and escalate issues as required

* Conduct ad-hoc workplace investigations and produce clear reports

* Coordinate recruitment processes, including job ads, shortlisting, interviews and offers

* Facilitate smooth onboarding and induction experiences

* Support staff development and engagement initiatives

* Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS (Cascade)

* Prepare and update HR documentation, including contracts and policies

* Produce HR reports and data analysis to aid decision-making

* Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes

Candidate Requirements:

* CIPD Level 3 or 5 qualified (or equivalent)

* Confident providing HR advice and guidance

* Discreet and trustworthy with confidential information

* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport

* Experience supporting employee relations casework

* Good knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice

* Familiarity with HRIS systems (payroll experience desirable)

* Excellent admin and organisational skills with attention to detail

* Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload
