Position Details

As a Laborer for RAM Construction Services, you assist in the revitalization and construction of surrounding areas. A Laborer aids skilled trade workers and contributes to project completion.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Set-up and clean-up of the job site, including preparing materials and staging.
• Direct traffic around the job site when necessary.
• Hauling, digging, and moving materials.
• Lifting objects or materials weighing 60+ pounds.
• Assisting skilled trade workers (caulking, waterproofing, etc.).
• Using hand tools and small power tools; acquire hand tools gradually.
• Perform other relevant duties as assigned.

Education, Experience & Qualifications Required

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Prior construction experience is preferred but not required.

Travel

Some travel required to surrounding job sites. Per diem and overnight stay compensation provided if applicable.

Technology

Some technology use may be required; proper training will be provided.

Work Environment

Varied environment: seasonal temperatures, high/low spaces, small spaces, loud and frequent noises, standing/walking up to 12 hours per day, indoor/outdoor settings, traffic proximity.

Following Instructions

Adhere to instructions from superintendents, project managers, and construction plans and blueprints.

Cleanliness

Maintain a clean, organized, hazard‑free work area.

Follow all RAM health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe work environment.
