Industrial Sales Manager – Brockton, MA
North East Electrical seeks a full‑time Sales Manager to lead our outside sales team in Brockton, MA. Join a distributor that values sustainability, diverse perspectives and growth opportunities within the Sonepar family.
As the Industrial Sales Manager, you will develop strategies to expand the customer base, enhance existing accounts and drive revenue, profit and service goals for the Industrial Region.
What a day in this role looks like:- Surpass team sales and profitability targets
- Monitor and evaluate sales team performance, implementing changes to ensure ongoing success
- Oversee resource planning, reporting, territories, incentives, and communications for the team
- Collaborate with leadership to manage budgets and develop initiatives to achieve revenue, profit, and service goals
- Participate in client interactions to ensure cross‑training, customer satisfaction, and regular management involvement
- Develop the sales team’s competency in value‑add services and solution selling
- Conduct one‑on‑one reviews to assess performance, provide guidance, and identify development needs
- Conduct annual performance reviews to foster a performance management culture
- Collaborate with marketing, credit, IT, purchasing, operations, and outside sales to facilitate new programs, messages, campaigns, and offerings
- Set an example for Outside Sales Representatives in personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits
- Engage in selling efforts as needed
- 10+ years of sales leadership experience with a proven track record of growth and team performance
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A or B.S.) from a 4‑year college or university
- Preferred experience in automation, with Rockwell Automation experience being a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Base salary $150,000 with bonus potential.
