What a day in this role looks like:
  • Surpass team sales and profitability targets
  • Monitor and evaluate sales team performance, implementing changes to ensure ongoing success
  • Oversee resource planning, reporting, territories, incentives, and communications for the team
  • Collaborate with leadership to manage budgets and develop initiatives to achieve revenue, profit, and service goals
  • Participate in client interactions to ensure cross-training, customer satisfaction, and regular management involvement
  • Develop the sales team’s competency in value-add services and solution selling
  • Conduct one-on-one reviews to assess performance, provide guidance, and identify development needs
  • Conduct annual performance reviews to foster a performance management culture
  • Collaborate with marketing, credit, IT, purchasing, operations, and outside sales to facilitate new programs, messages, campaigns, and offerings
  • Set an example for Outside Sales Representatives in personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits
  • Engage in selling efforts as needed
What we are looking for you to bring to us:
  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience with a proven track record of growth and team performance
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A or B.S.) from a 4-year college or university
  • Preferred experience in automation, with Rockwell Automation experience being a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
