for organizing, receiving incoming deliveries, managing stock, and maintaining the safety and cleanliness of the warehouse.
This role ensures the availability of materials to support field crews and the project schedule.
- Responsibleformaintaininganaccurateinventoryofmeters,tools,uniforms,andsafetyequipment.
- Assign meters and materials to installation technicians fordaily work assignments.
- Completedataentryforincomingandoutgoing meters.
- Researchandrespondtoallmeter/AMI-related inquiries.
- Custodialmaintenanceofcompletewarehousefacility.
- Researchlostmeters.
- Categorize inventory and complete inventory tracking.
- Responsibleforthe timelyorderingofmetersandallproject-related supplies.
- Reviewpurchaseorderandshippingarrangement,as necessary.
- Manage a team of warehouse staff and material handlers as needed.
- Ensure compliance with
OSHAandutility-specific safety guidelines. - Performsadditionalrelateddutiesasassigned.
- Demonstratedproficiencywith Microsoft Office Suite ,advancedskillswith
Microsoft Excel. - Abilitytolift
50lbsthroughout the day. - Strongorganizationalanddetail-oriented skills
- Knowledgeofwarehouse andinventorymanagement.
- Experience using Smartsheet is preferred but not required.
- Allotherdutiesasrequiredorrequestedbytheleadership.
- Experienceinsupervision/logisticsorwarehousingpreferred.
- Mustbe
18yearsofageorolder. - Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Forklift certification or CDL, a plus.
- High School Diplomaorequivalent
- Priorexperienceinthe Electric and/orGasUtilityindustryis preferred.
- 3+yearsofdrivingexperiencewithminimalnon-moving violations.

Due to the inherently dangerous nature of the industry and requirements to work with or around hazardous equipment, employees must have sufficient eyesight to judge distance/coordination of equipment and tools, be able to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods, be able to withstand exposure to all kinds of weather while completing work assignments, be able to wear personal protective equipment as necessary, be able to enter and exit a vehicle numerous times a day, have the endurance necessary to traverse various terrain, be capable of performing job duties throughout a standard 8- or 10-hour day, be able to communicate with others, read, write, and comprehend written/verbal job instructions and information, and communicate and handle conflict professionally.
