Overview
CMZ Machinery Group (previously imported under the Eurotech Elite banner) is a European leader in CNC lathe manufacturing, expanding its presence in the U.S. through CMZ USA. Our new facility in Brockton, MA will serve as the central hub for sales, service, and applications in North America.
Key Responsibilities- Customer & Distributor Support
- Provide technical service and applications support to customers and distributors.
- Host and attend to customers visiting the company’s showroom.
- Advise and support the accessory assembly team to ensure proper machine setup.
- Service & Applications Leadership
- Recruit, train, and manage the U.S. service and applications team.
- Develop training programs for customers, distributors, and internal staff.
- Establish service protocols, processes, and KPIs to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Technical Expertise
- Deliver hands-on applications support on CNC lathes.
- Provide expertise in FANUC CNC control, machining applications, CNC programming, and cutting tools.
- Support accessory installation and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Operational & Financial Management
- Oversee service invoicing and collection processes.
- Ensure cost-effectiveness of service operations through efficient planning and execution.
- Coordinate spare parts generation with the warehouse team.
- Training & Development
- Organize courses and technical training at the U.S. showroom and facilities.
- Participate in training sessions at CMZ headquarters in Spain to transfer knowledge to the U.S. team.
- Solid technical background in CNC lathes, machining, and FANUC control.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming, machining applications, and cutting tool strategies.
- 5+ years of experience in service, applications, or technical support roles.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in recruiting, training, and managing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for direct customer interaction.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage operations and budgets.
- Willingness to travel for training (including to Spain) and occasional customer visits.
- A leadership role in the U.S. expansion of a global company.
