- Professors work collaboratively to create a learner centered environment focused on student learning and success. Teaching approaches are expected to include active and collaborative techniques and real-world applications related to animation and digital photography.

- Assign grades
- Maintain student records of attendance, participation, grades, etc.
- Work collaboratively with divisional staff
- Monitor email communications from students and the college, and respond in a timely manner
- Focus on the Commonwealth s Equity Agenda by applying related best practices throughout all job functions.
- Participate in instructional development and orientation, department, early college, and college wide activities.

Job Requirements- Master s degree in animation or closely aligned field
- Candidates should be fluent with Adobe Animate, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator and have 2D animation experience and strong drawing skills.
- Experience with and understanding of the community college environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Capable of maintaining academic standards with empathy and honesty.
- Knowledge of and experience using effective pedagogical strategies.
- Position Status: Adjunct Faculty, Part-Time Non-Benefited MCCC/MTA bargaining unit position
Semester: Fall 2025
Salary: $1,397.00 per credit, consistent with the DCE Collective Bargaining Agreement. If hired for the position mid-semester, the salary will be pro-rated based on the number of weeks left in the semester.
Worksite: Assignments will include all Massasoit sites and additional locations as necessary.
