Massasoit currently offers 41 associate degree programs in arts, sciences, and applied sciences and 24 certificates. The College also offers non-credit workforce development certificates; corporate training courses; adult basic education; personal enrichment classes; and Early College programs for high school students.

Job Description:
Accepting Applications for Academic Year
Adjunct or part time teaching assignments at this time include in person day courses for Massasoit's Early College Program. Locations can include local high schools as well as the Massasoit campuses. Professors work collaboratively to create a learner centered environment focused on student learning and success. Teaching approaches are expected to include active and collaborative techniques and real-world applications related to composition and literature.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Create a community of learners
- Plan and implement active and collaborative learning and assessment
- Provide consistent feedback
- Evaluate achievement
- Maintain student records of attendance, participation, grades, etc.
- Work collaboratively with divisional staff
- Monitor email communications from students and the college, and respond in a timely manner
Additional Opportunities:
- Participate in instructional development and orientation, department, early college, and college wide activities.

Requirements:
- Master's degree or higher in English as a Second Language, or closely aligned field, or a Master's degree with an appropriate level of experience and training.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with and understanding of the community college environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Capable of maintaining academic standards with empathy and honesty.
- Knowledge of and experience using effective pedagogical strategies.
Additional Information:
Position Status: MCCC/MTA position
Semester:
Academic Year Fall 2025-Spring 2026
Salary: $1,397.00per credit, consistent with the DCE Collective Bargaining Agreement.
* If hired for the position mid-semester, the salary will be pro-rated based on the number of weeks left in the semester.
Worksite:
Assignments may include all Massasoit sites and partner high schools.
